Old Harry Rocks, Dorset: Saturday 28th July 2018
For our seventh annual walk, we headed to Studland Beach and Old Harry Rocks, completing our journey across the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, in Dorset. As we crossed the beach and ascended the cliffs, surrounded by green hills on one side and the open sea on the other, we stopped along the route for short talks and Qur’an recitation. With the stunning Old Harry Rocks as our backdrop, we explored the concept of rocks and hearts, using related Qur’an ayahs.
The Theme
During the course of the walk, teachers delivered short inspirational talks from the Qur’an and Hadith related to the concept of the heart.
